Out of all the electric skateboards out on the market, you’re considering to buy a Boosted.
The best selling e-board on the market, Boosted made the electric skateboard market that much more famous and notorious. Through the likes of YouTube channels like Casey Neistat and others Boosted paved the way for other companies which became their competition.
If you’re questioning your decision on buying a Boosted Board, don’t worry… you’re not the first and you won’t be the last.
We’ve got you covered.
Boosted Boards are expensive. Spending that kind of money on something that is just a motorized skateboard almost seems absurd…
So it begs us to ask the question, are Boosted Boards worth it?
It’s Worth It…
Yes, Boosted Boards are definitely worth it.
Don’t believe me?
Just ask anyone who owns one, including myself. As a Boosted Plus owner, the board has fantastic power and speed. But what I love most about it is the handling…
The boards ride great and the super flex deck gives you superb control.
The remote simple and easy to use and you can even hook up your board to the Boosted app on your phone.
While it is expensive, it delivers and is the perfect board for daily commuting. I used it to commute to the train station almost every day of the week for school for over 1 year.
And on top of it all, they’re the safest and most reliable boards on the market. Period.
How Are The Reviews?
If you check through the countless reviews online, you’ll find that all the boards carry positive reviews.
•Just head over to Amazon and you’ll see that the Boosted Mini X, Boosted Plus, and Boosted Stealth all carry 4/5 star reviews.
•This Redditor gave an update on his new Boosted Plus and said “he loved it so much he would buy it again.”
•Another Redditor claimed the Plus was the best transportation you could buy and “after he took it for his first ride, all worry was gone and a giddy smile replaced it.”
•The Verge gave the Boosted Plus a 9/10 score and stated it was the “fastest safe electric skateboard.”
•Wired reviewed the Boosted Mini S and came to the conclusion that “Boosted still remains the gold standard.”
But Aren’t They Expensive?
There’s no doubt about it. Boosted is pricey.
For many, that’s the biggest influencing decision. Do I really want to drop $749 to $1,599 on something like an electric skateboard?
And while there are a plenty of much cheaper alternatives that offer uncanny performance, Boosted is still the top dog.
The Wired blog came out with something that I really loved. Stating that while Boosted is expensive, people pay $400 or more for snowboards or a pair of skis in which they only use a few times a year…
Paying $1,399 for a Boosted Plus (a powerful, reliable, and super safe motorized skateboard) which you can use pretty much every single day is actually not as horrible as you think.
It comes with a 1 year warranty and will last you many years as long as you don’t treat it like trash…
Which Model Is Best?
While the final decision is up to you, I recommend going with the Boosted Plus with the Boosted Mini X as a close second.
But depending on your lifestyle and if your using the board for commuting, you may choose the Mini X since it’s more portable and compact.
You really can’t go wrong with any of the models, even Boosted’s new electric scooter is making rounds around the neighborhood.
